Abbotsford winner Set for Life

Richmond, October 26, 2006 - Marilyn Gaudreau of Abbotsford is BC Lottery Corporations newest top prize winner on BC's Set for Life. She has chosen the lump sum amount of $675,000 over the annuity of $1,000 a week for 25 years.

51 year old Gaudreau was on her way to meet some girl friends for lunch when she stopped to cash in a $25 winner and got $10 worth of Scratch and win ticket which she scratched in the car. Gaudreau explained, "I could not believe it. I call Ray at work and told him I won."

The winning ticket was purchased at Seven Oaks Chevron Town Pantry on South Fraser Hwy in Abbotsford.

Plans for her prize include traveling on motorbike to wherever her and her husband end up and use towards retirement.
