Emotional Time for Set for Life Winner

Peter Crowder, of Port Coquitlam, was heading home from taking his dog for a walk when he stopped for a pop. In the store, he noticed the Set for Life 7th Anniversary tickets and bought himself one.

Later at home, Peter scratched his ticket and found three "Cash 25 Years" in the same play area to win the top prize of $675,000 or $1,000 a week for 25 years. Peter's wife, Teresa, and their two sons kept looking at the ticket in disbelief, exclaiming, "No way!"

The forty-two year old used his winning ticket as a bookmark storing both book and ticket safely in his jacket pocket all weekend. He explained this has been an "emotional" and "crazy" time.

Peter, a computer draftsman chose the lump sum prize and will be investing the windfall for his future.

The winning ticket was purchased at G & A Market on Cedar Drive in Port Coquitlam, B.C.
