Set For Life win 'sinking in'

Set For Life win 'sinking in' Richmond, B.C., April 30, 2009 – A Vancouver carpenter can build his next house on "Easy Street" after winning the top prize on a Set For Life scratch and win lottery ticket.

Tim Boothroyd has decided to take the lump sum payment of $675,000 although he's not quite sure how he's going to spend it.

"I haven't really thought about it," said the 50-year-old. "Maybe because it hasn't really sunk in yet, but I plan to spend it wisely. I might buy a nice car, a few lattes, and just lie on a beach somewhere until it really sinks in."

Despite now being "Set For Life", Boothroyd says he plans to continue playing his favourite scratch and win game.

"I love 'Set For Life'. I've been playing it for years. I'll probably buy one on my way home."

Good luck, Tim!
