Expectant father now 'Set For Life'

Expectant father now 'Set For Life' Richmond, B.C., July 6, 2009 – A 28-year-old Port Hardy man is now "Set For Life" after winning the top prize on BCLC's Set For Life instant Scratch & Win ticket.

"I can't believe it," beamed Steven Silvey, who matched three winning symbols on his Set For Life ticket to earn the top prize of $1000 each week for 25 years.

"I've held on to this ticket for a few days and kept it a secret, but I haven't got much sleep. I keep waking up and looking at it again in disbelief."

The sleep deprivation is good practice for Steven, though, with wife Shantell due to give birth to the couple's second child in November.

Having decided to take the lump sum payment of $675,000.00, the expectant father plans to use some of his windfall to purchase a new SUV for his growing family.

Congratulations to the Silvey's!

The winning ticket was purchased at the G&S Corner Market on Coldwater Avenue in Merritt.
