how to play bingo

You can play on paper or on an electronic touch screen terminal.

Paper Bingo

Traditional paper bingo is offered at all Chances locations. Payouts and play variations may vary depending on the location. Visit your local Chances for more information on daily bingo programs, rules and payouts.

Getting started

In order to play Bingo, players must buy Bingo cards from either the cashier or the floor runner. Prices of bingo sessions and single games may vary by locations.

Cards
Bingo players buy cards with numbers on them in a 5 x 5 grid corresponding to the five letters in the word B-I-N-G-O. Each bingo card contains 24 numbered spaces and one free space in the middle.

Numbers are drawn at random out of a possible 75 balls until one player completes the pattern currently being played. The bingo balls are drawn in random manner from a range of bingo numbers. The bingo numbers are called out one at a time in the order drawn and displayed. Not all 75 bingos draws will generate a winning card on a sheet.

How to Play

A caller will announce numbers.
Dab the corresponding numbers on the bingo card(s). The caller will continue to announce numbers until one or more players wins a “Bingo”.
Once “Bingo” is called, the game is stopped and the card is verified by a staff member.
If there is a winner, the prize is awarded and a new bingo game begins with new cards.
If there is more than one winner, the prize is shared.

Specials and bonus games

Specials are jackpot games played for prizes that continue over a longer period that are held in trust until the game conditions have been met.

Bonus games are additional games that cost extra and allow for more chances to win the jackpot portion of the game.

Special and bonus games may vary by location.
