what to do when you win

Congratulations, you've won! Now what do you do?

First, print your name, address and telephone number in ink on the back of your ticket. This helps to protect you if your ticket is lost or stolen. Second, contact BCLC for instructions on how and where to claim your prize.

Claiming prizes of less than $200
Retailers will pay prizes up to and including $200 on all lotteries, and may, at their discretion, pay prizes up to $999.99.
Claiming prizes of more than $1,000
Contact BCLC by phone at our Prize Payout Offices before claiming your prize. You must claim cash prizes, bonus prizes, and merchandise prizes in person from our BCLC Prize Payout Offices, or by sending the ticket, along with a claim form, to BCLC's Kamloops office. You can pick up a claim form from lottery retailers. All risks of sending tickets to BCLC remain with the player.
Claiming prizes of more than $10,000
Contact BCLC by phone at our Prize Payout Offices before claiming your prize. A Group Release Form must accompany any group claim for $10,000 or greater (three or more people).
For Scratch & Win
Be sure to claim your prize before the expiry date listed in Luck Magazine.
Sharing the News
